I have been using a series 2000 for 16 years without problem but decided to upgrade mainly because I liked the new design, the modular structure is very well designed and saves valuable space in my workshop. Some issues with the fence, the connections are poor and both ends snapped off on mine. the ends of the fence are connected my a plastic joint, if you put any twist onto it, such as engaging one arm before the other and allowing the free end to drop a fraction, it will snap off very easily, I feel this is a design issue which needs addressing. Triton sent me a complete new fence assembly even though I only needed a small plastic nut holder! the measurement scale too is quite difficult to set up accurately, maybe my new fence will alleviate this but I found I needed to set the scales to their extreme ends to get any kind of accuracy. If you buy the dust collection bin the connections supplied do not fit the new work-centre. I am still getting used to the whole thing. star award based on two weeks experience with faults found.

Great design but one or two teething problems Adrian Long - 19/12/2018

My affair with Triton all started last year with the timber rack which is full to bursting with heavy timber. Then on to the JF001 router then to the TWX7 workcentre with router table and contractor saw, all very good and well thought out, will say that instructions leave a lot to be desired though so have to look at videos on line to assemble. Being a retired toolmaker/machinist I find all woodworking machines a bit non precision even Festool but at least Triton is a third of the price and does the job well and well designed also the are not a badged machine the same as other makes with just different colour paint but their own design with thought behind it. What next ? bigger router for the table or dowelling jointer, pocket hole jig perhaps, just maybe all of 'em.
