The router adjusts the cutting depth when it's in the overhead position and the lock button isn't activated. The safety plate blocks the power switch, even though I've pushed it into the up position with force.
This is my second one I had the last one for about four or five years did struggle to get a new motor so I ended up buying a new one still got the old one would be nice to find a motor but have no idea where to get it from and as this is an Australian company I'm going to struggle I think
Good tool like I expected.
This is a great sander and I would recommend it. Some of my thoughts are comparing it to my smaller ridgid 3x18. My only complaints are my first sander quit working after a short time and it took a week to get it replaced. I also found that the dust collector left twice the material on the project then it could pickup. The sander and belts are twice the price but results are worth it. Faster, smoother results with fewer dig errors, and nice edge control.
