This is the best plane I have used in years, the depth adjustments give an excellent finished product, really pleased would recommend to anyone.

Pros, lightweight and easy to handle. Dust port works well attached to vacuum. Cons. Wish there was a standard larger port diameter on all tools as this one is very small. Blades chipped on first use in softwood so maybe not best quality blades. Took some time to adjust planer knife position and tilt to get a flat even plane.

Good tool for lightweight convenient use. The main reason I got it was the small light size. Blades got nicks in on first use just in softwood so maybe they aren't too great. Would be nice if the dust port was bigger so you don't have to use adapters. Or provide an adapter. Dust extraction works great when attached to hoover. Took some time to adjust the blades to an even cut and a true 0mm setting.

As a floor fitter i regularly have to take a few mm off the bottom of doors. I got sick of carrying about my big heavy planer so looked for a lighter alternative. I purchased the 450w mini planer which was half the weight. What a cracking little planer it is. Takes the bottom off the doors no problem. I would highly recommend this planer for those small jobs. Good price too which was a bonus.
