Had my saw for maybe 5 years now. The lifting system of sawblade now is non-functional. Tried to pull it to pieces. This must be one of the weirdest complicated systems to set blade height. It has to malfunction at some time! Am disappointed to say the least.

I've had the table saw for about a month now and I've used several times, mostly for soft woods, melamines and MDFs. For now, it cuts really well, it's powerful enough and i don't need to push the wood too hard. I haven't used it to cut any hard woods yet, so i will have to see how it does using harder materials. One thing i really enjoy is the depth of cut. It can cut up to 80mm at 90 degrees !! Which is something i look for in a table saw. The blade out of the box is pretty good, it's a 42 (can't remember exactly) teeth multipurpose blade, cuts well, no burn marks and minimal tear outs. I would have to see how it does over time. I really enjoy the modular system. The table saw module fits in the workcenter perfectly, locks and takes out easily. I wonder why other manufacturers don't apply this system as well, it's really thought out. Another thing that i enjoy is the sound. This table saw is loud, but acceptable at 100 decibels. As far as precision goes, this product disappointed a bit. Right out of the box, the saw needs to be calibrated, otherwise it's not precise. The 0 or 90 degree angle (with a digital angle meter) took me some time to set up, i had to try several times and sometimes, the blade simply won't stay at 90. The same goes for 45 degree angle. When it fits into the workcenter, it simply can not be level with the workcenter surface, no matter how much i try. And finally, the insert plate is pretty crappy, not straight, not level, increases tear outs. Oh, almost forgot, the blade guard ! It's USELESS. It's bulky, it prevents you to see the cut, the woods won't go through unless you lift the guard up. That's it for now, but generally speaking i really like this table saw ! I would highly recommend it for any serious DIYers or contractors. For woodworking professionals however, i think there are better options.

Bon outil. Tout est réglable pour obtenir une bonne précision. Par contre, l'emballage ne protège pas la table en aluminium. J'ai commandé 2 scies, la première est arrivée complètement déformée, et la deuxième avec un coin plus bas que les autres. J'ai pu la redresser. J'enlève 1 étoile pour cette raison.

Das Triton Sägemodul ist genau das, was ich suchte. Design und sehr gute Technik wurden hier zu einer überragenden Einheit zusammengeführt. Der Sägeblattschutz und die Staubabsaugung suchen ihresgleichen. Das Sögeblatt von 245mm bietet ausreichende Schnitttiefe bei 90° sowie in der 45°-Stellung. Alle Einstellungen lassen sich leicht und ohne großen Aufwand vornehmen. Exacte Schnittergebnisse sind das Resultat. Ich kann dieses Sägemodul von Triton nur empfehlen!

Cela fait plus d'un an que je l'ai et honnêtement, le système est correct, la scie coupe sans pb tout ce que je lui présente (à condition d'avoir la bonne lame). Mais, l Le système de guidage parallèle est juste nullissime, au mieux on est à 0,5 mm près. De plus, les 4 loquet de blocages du guide on pété en mémé pas 1 mois d’utilisation. Quand on vois comment ils sont fait, on comprends pourquoi, cela tiens sur même pas 1 mm de plastique de part et d'autre. On en est presque à de obsolescente programmée tellement c'est fin...

Une scie sous table compacte, puissante, avec une très bonne hauteur de coupe. L'ensemble s'adapte parfaitement au workcentre ce qui est un atout de plus. Une chose à améliorer : les réglettes sur le guide parallèle. Il y a facilement 5 à 6 mm de décalage, il faut tout re-régler.

A great bit of kit and does indeed cut very accurate once you spend the time setting it to do exactly that. In the time I've had it I found it very nice to work with but did come across one small problem. When cutting Rabbits the blade would often drop height from the 5mm height set before hand. Until Triton support offer a solution I will just have to use a hand held Spring Clamp on the round disc part of the Blade height winder to stop it dropping and not to damage the kit either. Price, design details and everything else are spot on. Triton forever more....

Once you've tweaked everything (fence, fence clamps, saw angle, surface alignments, etc) it's a robust and reliable saw. I contacted Triton support for help with some of that tweaking, and I found them to be fast to respond, knowledgeable and keen to help. The fence clamps at both ends and so is slightly more fiddly to get right than a T-bar fence, but once you've got it in the right place it won't budge (like other stock fences do). I've cut a few projects in both softwood and hardwood (Oak) so far, with the latter at a cutting depth of 50cm, and the motor didn't slow or burn the wood. Dust extraction is fine if you use the finger guard, not great without (I have a Makita L-Class dust extractor attached). The mitre gauge has a little wiggle, and I use a bevel for the measurements rather than the gauge's measure and I managed to cut accurate mitre joints no problem. The rails support after market gauges though, which I would recommend if you're doing a lot of precise angled cutting. All in all I think it's a good saw for the money. The compromises are on things you can fix, improve, or work around yourself fairly cheaply (and you'd be paying a lot more for a saw without those sorts of issues) but the guts of the saw itself is solid and powerful.

Just bought my Work Centre with the table saw and router option. It was a bear to assemble as the instructions contained no verbiage, just some sketches. Had to go to YouTube for help. Didn't realize router was only compatible with Triton routers so had to buy another router. The safety slide on the on/off on the router is glitchy and stays shut/locked off until the router bit is lowered well below desired depth. Not happy with that feature. Overall, it is a sturdy table and seems to function as touted with the exceptions noted above. Can't say that I love it and not sure it is worth the spend yet.

I recently bought a complete TWX7 workcenter with TWX7 Rugged Transit Kit, TWX7 Side Support and TWX7 Outfeed Support. I added a Contractor Saw Module (TWX7CS001) and a router table module (TWX7RT001) to this superb workcenter. So I have a very versatile working tool. The set is of very good quality. The circular saw of the module TWX7CS001 is very powerful and I like its cutting capacity of 86 mm. The parallel guidance system is very precise. The miter cutter guide is well designed because by inverting it, you get a preset at 45 °. Long-length edging is very easy and the addition of optional supports allows working with large wood pieces. The set remains very stable. The two-outlet suction is not very practical, but by making a system with a Y it works pretty well. To insert the module on the table, it is necessary to think to put the blade at 45 ° otherwise it does not pass. On the other hand, if the lateral support is retracted under the table, it is impossible to place the saw module in the table. I am very satisfied with this product and I intend to return to Triton for other purchases.

From opening the box, its a sturdy piece of kit. Pretty much ready to go out of the box, you have it standing and level in 5 minutes, and another 10 to level the MDF work surface. Straight into use, I had to clamp some small drawers up, using bench dogs in the pre drilled surface to support the drawer, it showed very quickly how this portable workbench was going to be very useful. I only have a very small workshop and this interchangeable work bench is something I wish I had brought years ago. great job

I've just received the saw a week earlier, and did some test cuts. Mounted on my TWX-7, it was a very decent setup and worked like a charm. Still some details could be improved : I wish I could let the blade guard and the riving knife mounted when the blade is completely down, so it could be under the kerf plate for storage, for instance. Overall, it's a nice "movable" tool, but not very transportable. Worth the investment if you have a small shop, which is my case.

Im a hobbyist woodworker building simple furniture amongst other projects. I have a 1 car garage woodshop, which is why I was tempted with the contractor saw. It seemed like a very clever use of space and alowed me to have a router table and table saw which I didn't think I would ever fit. Over all extreemly pleased so far. I took the time to set it up following the video and now get very accurate cuts, although it's only been tested on sheet materials and pine so far. My only gripe being, one of the fence locking clamps doesn't seem to hold the fence at all, but I am yet to confirm it to being a manufacturer fault. 4 stars only because I've not had it long enough to really rate it.

With a lot of subterfuge my wife bought the TWX7 and CS001 module for Christmas. I did leave the catalogue around henhouse with the suitably marked pages. So far I am extremely pleased with the product and the quality that Triton has maintained. I have been a look term user of the Workstation 2000 and associated router table. These I have now passed on to others. the TWX7 will save space in my workshop and I have plans for a suitable storage module to fit under the unit to hold the contractor saw and router module. I have looked in detail at the market and the very expensive solutions out there but my TWX7 answers all my needs st a very much more competitive price. I also see the future potential of the modular approach and what can be developed for the future. Other comments: No instructions om assembling the power plug but my distributor Yandles helped. Questions: 1. Can a dado blade be fitted to the CS001 2. I would suggest the 20mm hole spacing be changed from 100mm to 96mm to follow the standard used by most others. 3. Need access to a Y-fitting for a shop vac to work with CS001

I'm studying at the carpenter school at the moment. We have big Altendorf table saws there. I have also been working with Festool cs 70 table saw. I am building up my own little shop and table saw was among the first machines to buy. Triton contractor saw is great table saw. Of course it is not Altendorf, but in my opinion it is better than Festool. The rip cut fence is far superior comparing to Festools fence (cs 70 LA). You can tighten it up in both ends. So it is really accurate. The mitre fence is not so accurate, but with good square you can get along. Good thing is that you can buy after market mitre fence (Incra, Kreg...) if you like, because Triton workcentre table has universal size slot miter channels in it. The motor (1800w) is powerful enough. Considering the price, this thing is top notch.

Through woodworking forums and youtube I met Triton. In January 2014 I bought the MOF001 replacing my Festool Router. A powerful machine. Especially among my DIY Router Table. Based on my experience, I bought two months ago the TWX7 with the TWXRT001 router table and the TWX S001 Contracters Saw. The table is very stable and versatile. In particular with the two miter tracks. The Contracters Saw is very precise. Dust extraction is top notch. The MOF001 in combination with the TWXRT001 is a woodworkers dream . Last month I bought the TCMBS handheld bandsaw. Also, a fine machine . To date, Triton is my brand.
