The machine needs to have the wheel trued because the support bar for the jigs is not square to the surface of the new wheel. The jig's enclosures say to find instructions on the company site. There are no instructions under the headings for this product, so the user has to improvise. So far, results have not been satisfactory, and my machine still puts a non-square angle on my tools when I use the companion tool holder.

This truing tool if you don't have 1 then your blades will not be straight. I am a novice with using a Wetstone sharpener but once I watched a video on this and it made so much easier to Tru the stone up to be perfect for put a perfectly sharp level blade on all of my chisels which were never this sharp even from new. Half the price of the others put just as easy to use. MUST HAVE JIG.
